Some of the treatments available in Salt Lake City for skin resurfacing include Sciton ® MicroLaser Peel, Fraxel ™ Laser Treatment, and recently added, the Portrait ® Skin Regeneration procedure and EC02 Fractional Laser Resurfacing.
A Sciton MicroLaser Peel can leave the skin looking refreshed and youthful, which could previously only be achieved with a deep chemical peel. This treatment can reduce the appearance of discoloration and age spots, as well as wrinkles, fine lines, and some acne scars. Although results can be seen after only one treatment, it is recommended to come in for repeat sessions in monthly intervals for optimal results. Deeper peels can be given but will require a longer downtime.
The Fraxel laser provides excellent results with a shorter healing process and minimal downtime. It can restore aging and sun-damaged skin by resurfacing and remodeling collagen. It also improves tone, texture, and color, and reduces acne scarring. Salt Lake City, Bountiful, and Park City skin resurfacing patients can receive Fraxel laser treatment on the face, neck, chest, and hands.
With the Portrait Skin Regeneration and EC02 Fractional Laser Resurfacing procedure, plasma energy is delivered to the deeper layers of the skin using a no contact technique. This method produces uniform regeneration of your skin and you will see results soon after treatment.
